Career Launch®

Career Launch® encourages Club members, ages 13 to 18, to assess their skills and interests, explore careers, make sound educational decisions and prepare to join our nation’s work force.

Through Career Launch, Club teens embark on a journey to explore possible vocations, make sound educational decisions and find success in the world of work. Club staff or volunteers help teens build their job-search skills and job readiness by using the CareerLaunch Facilitator Guide and working with teens individually or in small groups.

The CareerLaunch online experience provides Club teens, staff and volunteers with online career exploration, college and job search information and interactive activities. Mentoring, job shadowing and training opportunities round out the program.

The Makerspace powered by Infosys Foundation USA participated in a contest with BGCA, combining art with STEM - the Fine Arts/Makerspace interdisciplinary project.

our members created their own tiles. Together they created a laser etched community arts project over the course of several weeks.

Working with members of the Asylum Hill Club, all ages, from the Early Learning Center up to staff members. Each participant designed their own translucent tile using either a computer design program or markers and paper to represent themselves in a positive light.

We hope you enjoy these creations as much as we do! We love the creativity and talent of our members and are happy to be able to share it with the community.
