The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford Provides a Safe, Nurturing Place for Kids and Teens
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford’s doors are open from 3pm to 9pm, Monday through Friday. Our Clubs give kids and teens a safe space to learn, grow, exercise and contribute. We build self-esteem and teach healthy habits that can translate to greater success in life.

We offer a variety of programs designed to guide club members ages 3 to 18 on the path toward a successful future. Our programs inspire and challenge club members, build self-esteem and enable kids and teens to reach their full potential. Our programs span six areas that focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles and good citizenship.
Education & STEM
Our Education & STEM programs complement and reinforce what youth learn within school. Programs within this area enable youth to be effective, engaged learners who are on track to graduate. See Education & STEM programs.
Health & Wellness
Our Health & Wellness programs provide opportunities for youth to enhance relationships with themselves and others, regulate emotions and solve problems. See Health & Wellness programs.
Sports & Recreation
Our Sports & Recreation programs promote healthy development. Members engage in a variety of physical activities that build positive relationships with peers and encourage healthy habits. See Sports & Recreation programs.
Leadership & Service
Our Leadership & Service programs build leadership with self, others and the community. Inspiring members and giving them the confidence to make meaningful change in their communities. See Leadership & Service programs.
The Arts
Our Arts programs encourage imagination and self-expression—helping kids and teens understand, appreciate and embrace a variety of different art forms. See Arts programs.
